Steam Whistle
Steam Whistle brews their much loved beer at the historic Roundhouse, near the base of the CN Tower. What was once the Canadian Pacific Rail company’s steam locomotive repair facility, is now a place where friends and beer lovers can gather to enjoy a frosty pint. Customer Review: Just went back to Steam Whistle for patio season and they didn’t disappoint! Very organized and caring about people’s safety. Lovely patio, the beer is fantastic, and the staff is super friendly.

Junction Craft Brewing
If you’re looking for quality beer in West Toronto, look no further. Known for their lagers but always keen to experiment with some haze, you won’t be disappointed by the quality brews pumped out of Junction Craft Brewing.
In 2019 they partnered with Caribru Cares to help raise money for local charities where they donate 5% of all earnings. Good beer for a good cause, how could you not love these guys?
Customer Review: I like their Conductor’s ale. I like it even more when it’s freshly poured and served on their patio. I cycle there, but there’s a huge parking lot and many picnic tables. Highly recommended!

Bellwoods Brewery
Located on the busy Ossington Avenue strip, Bellwoods Brewery has many award winning brews, focusing on aromatic hoppy stuff and crisp lagers. They often experiment with barrel aged wild blends, fruit-forward zingers, and the occasional barrel aged stout. Stop in for lunch or dinner at the brew pub, or grab their delicious brews to-go at the bottle shop next door!
Customer Review: I love this place to the point of sounding paid. The beer is quality and the food is so tasty. I highly recommend the sourdough bread with butter (can’t speak for the pumpkin seed oil option). Our server was really friendly and super helpful. Just beware the waitlist that is almost guaranteed and plan accordingly. But really, go! Your taste buds will thank you.

Henderson Brewing

Customer Review: Always a great choice when picking a brewery to hangout at, they have lots of space, right beside a bike trail, and have a great selection of beers and also sell Popsicles. There’s also a sausage stand right beside some days and they’re delicious!

Rorschach Brewing Co.

This family run, independent craft brewery and brewpub has an interesting origin story beginning in Nova Scotia in 1985. The brewmaster title has been passed down generations keeping the same quality standards and always experimenting with new yeasts and brew styles.
Customer Review: Great beers and amazing pub-inspired food. I love that there all always interesting rotating seasonal beers and a weekly food menu on top of their regular menu. I haven’t found a better local pub with such a wide variety of good homemade beers and doubt I will.

Avling is just a few years old and already making a splash in the craft beer scene. The industrial feel balanced by soft pastel colours is inviting and trendy, but wait until you hear what’s on the roof! Prioritizing regenerative production methods and sustainable approaches, Avling has a 4000 sq. ft farm on their roof top where they grow fruits and vegetables for their restaurant and even hops for their beers! The 99% symbol on many of their cans means that everything that went into that beer came from Ontario, talk about supporting local!
Customer Review: Such a gorgeous inside, I love the murals on the walls. The beer was some of the best we’ve had. We didn’t eat any food here, but it seemed from the menu that everything included an ingredient that they have grown themselves!
