Against the Grain Brewery
Against the Grain has four locations in Louisville including their primary Brewery and Smokehouse next to the Louisville Slugger baseball stadium, the Highlands Public House with classic pub food, the Butchertown Whirling Tiger that’s more geared towards the nightlife, and the downtown Louisville location with both a Sandwich Emporium and their Flamingo Lounge.
Against the Grain is growing rather quickly and you’ll be pleased to find new beers across locations almost every single week! They have many, many beers in their lineup, but one variety that is definitely worth a try is their smoked bourbon barrel-aged beers.

Bluegrass Brewing Co.
Bluegrass Brewing Company has been a staple in downtown Louisville since 1993, when it became the city’s first brewpub. Today, it remains one of the most popular craft breweries in the region, known for its wide selection of beers and hearty pub food.

Falls City Brewing Company
Falls City Brewing Company has a long history in Louisville, first opening in 1905! They survived Prohibition but later closed in 1978, not opening back up until 2010. Now, we think Falls City beer is here to stay!

Gravely Brewing Company is a music-themed brewery in Louisville, Kentucky that is quickly making a name for itself. Customer Review: Gravely is one of the best brewery experiences I’ve had recently. The space is massive, with options at the bar, relaxed interiors, cool patio, and an amazing elevated outdoor space. Mile Wide Beer Company is a great Louisville brewery located between Downtown and the Original Highlands in an old biscuit factory. They’ve mastered the art of IPAs but offer a wide variety of styles including sour beers and even some interesting spin-offs like a milkshake IPA!
You can watch all the magic happen through a window looking into the brewing room that will make you feel like you’re part of the action. And yes, they serve food! Grab a slice of pizza from their in-house brick oven pizza joint, Mac’s Pizza, you won’t regret it!

Customer Review: Very cool new Brewery..an oasis in an urban area. I had the More Citra dbl IPA which was delicious. They also have a small bourbon selection. It was sleek and modern on the inside. Nice and artfully designed outdoor area with artificial grass and games including putt putt and ping pong.

Gallant Fox Brewing
Gallant Fox Brewing got its name from a Kentucky Derby winning horse that won the triple crown in 1930. It wouldn’t be a Derby bar without a fine selection of bourbon whisky, and bourbon you will find in plenty.
