Big Storm Brewery is taking Florida by storm. They’ve been in business for over 10 years and with four breweries scattered throughout the sunshine state, any one of them would be a great choice for a visit.
The Cape Coral location hosts local live music every weekend so you can sip on some delicious Big Storm brews while having an unforgettable evening in their large taproom or outside on the patio. They have a passion for brewing quality craft beer that would turn anyone into a beer lover. Plus, their restaurant serves up great food and possibly some of the best fries you’ll find in the area.
Customer Review: First time in Cape Coral location. Beer is always tasty but the food was spectacular. The nachos with chorizo super yummy. Blackened Mahi mahi tacos best ever per my wife who is a fish taco aficionado. The staff was very attentive and pleasant.

Point Ybel Brewing Company
Point Ybel Brewing Company is located about 15 minutes from Cape Coral, just across the Caloosahatchee River in Fort Myers. Named after the place where it all started, in a Sanibel Island kitchen. The Sanibel Island Lighthouse is called Point Ybel, and that’s where the inspiration began.
This beach-themed beer haven loves its sours and lagers and is one of the very few breweries to have a wide non-alcoholic beer selection on tap! They have a non-alcoholic lager, IPA, and a porter/stout! Even your DD will have a great time sampling the craft beers at this craft brewery. Enjoy events almost every day of the week including rotating featured food trucks, live music, trivia, and yoga!

Eight-Foot Brewing brings a great experience to the Cape Coral community through quality products, community events, and beer education. Botanical Brewing Co.
Botanical Brewing Co. is not your traditional brewery, but we thought they were worth adding to this top breweries post because of their innovative brewing strategy. Botanical Brewing Co. brews only non-alcoholic beverages with special plant infusions designed to give you feelings of euphoria without the hangover.
Most of their brews are made with Kava Kava and Elixir. Kava Kava is a plant native to the South Pacific known for its calming and social effects, while Elixir from Southeast Asia has been shown to boost energy, create a feeling of euphoria, and promote relaxation.
While Kava infusions are a popular drink in other places in the world, they seem to just be starting in the U.S. If you’ve never tried Kava Kava, or have never been to a Kava Bar, this is a unique experience that should be on your bucket list.
