Deep Ellum Brewing Company was the first brewery to open in Dallas, Texas, and is still one of the largest in the area. Their beautiful and spacious outdoor beer garden is a great place to soak up the Dallas sun and have a pint with your friends.

Community Beer Co. is making waves in the Dallas beer scene. They’ve recently moved to a new 70,000-square-foot facility that gives beer lovers their very own community hangout spot. Four Corners Brewing Company started as a home-brew hobby and went through many small but mighty upgrades to arrive where they are today. Located in the Cedars District just south of downtown Dallas, this local hub is a great place to enjoy an afternoon pint full of local flavour or a few flights to try everything they have to offer.
They host weekly events like Loteria (a Mexican version of bingo with pictures instead of numbers), trivia nights, and live music performances. You’ll be in for a treat with their limited-release creative beers or their boozy kombucha, a unique creation that is definitely worth a try.

Lakewood Brewing Company in Garland, Texas, just 20 minutes from downtown Dallas is definitely worth the trip. They’re known for their Temptress Stout, an Imperial Milk Stout with Lactose and Vanilla at a whopping 9.1% ABV and named the #1 craft stout in Texas! It’s so popular that they’ve created a whole line called the Seduction Series, which includes spinoffs of the beloved Temptress, including French Toast, Smores, and Peanut Butter variations!

The beers are great, and it’s really a good idea to look at the whole list and get something you can’t find in stores. This is honestly one of my favorite places to go!

Peticolas Brewing Company
Peticolas Brewing Company has a beautiful 3-storey building in the Design District of Dallas, Texas. Within these three levels you’ll find board games, ping pong, shuffleboard, ring toss and other fun games, along with live music, and some of the best beer in the area. They’ve won many awards for their expertly crafted beer, including two gold medals at the Great American Beer Festival! Though they don’t have a food menu, feel free to bring your own food or order delivery straight to the brewery.

Manhattan Project Beer Co. is a newer craft brewery in West Dallas. This small batch brewery has over a dozen draft beers in their tap room accompanied by a coffee bar! Brewery meets coffee shop, what more could you ask for? Their food is raved about by many, especially the Thai fried chicken with gluten-free fried chicken! Almost everything they serve in the tasting room is made from scratch with the quality you can taste!
Customer Review: Besides the incredible beer (Nuclear Winter BA is my favorite), they have in my opinion, the best fries I’ve ever had. The arepas are also stellar.

Oak Highlands Brewing is a great place to visit if you’re in to have a good time! Their dog-friendly patio has tons of games to play with your friends like cornhole, foosball, and shuffleboard. Pegasus City Brewery
Pegasus City Brewery started as a small and mighty brewery and taproom in the Design District of Dallas, Texas. Since then, they’ve opened a second location in Downtown Dallas where you can sip on their exclusive releases or core draft beer. Both locations have clean and simple vibes and focus on the more traditional craft beers, being known for their ales and porters.

ODD Muse Brewing Company
ODD Muse Brewing Company is located just outside of Dallas, in the nearby Farmers Branch. Though they’re just a few years old, they’ve quickly become one of the best breweries in the Dallas Fort Worth area.
If you like IPAs, you’ll love what they’re brewing up at ODD Muse. Nearly half the tap list consists of IPA’s, while the other half has traditional lagers and ales, and the occasional sour. They don’t have food but you might catch a food truck or two on the weekends!
Customer Review: Great local brewery,. Half the menu is IPA, the other half is a mix of sours, pilsners, lagers, and hefeweizen. Awesome and friendly staff and clean and safe brewery. Plus a beer garden area and pet friendly area. Highly recommend checking out.

Customer Review: Great brewery in lake highlands. Their pizza is fantastic, as well as their beers. There was live music on the patio, as well as a live act inside in the later part of the day. I especially enjoyed the cherry imperial sour, full of flavor, tart and delicious. Its like drinking a sour cherry cobbler.

Their own beers are made in small batches and are constantly changing. You likely will never have the exact same beer twice, as they’re always tinkering to make them bigger and better with every batch. Along with their long list of craft beers, they also have a great little kitchen serving gluten-friendly fried chicken and made-from-scratch apps.
