Brooklyn Brewery has been around since the beginning of the craft brew scene in Brooklyn and is now an award-winning brewery that distributes its expertly crafted beer worldwide. Their Williamsburg taproom has indoor and outdoor seating options and both of which are dog friendly! They offer tours of their facility, giving you the inside scoop on the creative processes that go into each and every beer.
Brooklyn Brewery always has a great variety of craft beer on tap and even a few great non-alcoholic beers and seltzers for the non-craft beer drinkers out there. With tons of special events in the lineup like weekly trivia nights and bingo, it’s never a dull moment when you visit this iconic Brooklyn brewery.

Other Half Brewing Company
Other Half Brewing has five taprooms across New York and one in both Philadelphia and Washington as well. The Centre Street location, however, is where it all began! The original location at the intersection of Carroll Gardens, Red Hook, and Gowanus is where the magic started back in 2014 and they’re still serving up some of the best craft beer in New York to this day.
They have a great variety of beer styles but their IPAs are what they’re known for. If you love a good hazy IPA, American IPA, or want to experiment with their Green Power Imperial IPA, you must pay Other Half Brewing a visit. They also have a seltzer lineup called Oh2 with lots of flavour variations. If you’re hungry, check out the food truck of the day, outside food is also welcome.
Customer Review: Really great drinks and amazing service. Asked for a recommendation and the bartender knew exactly what I would like. She even spent the time to explain the companies sour program. Will definitely be back to try the upcoming sours! Also has large tables great for a group.

Sixpoint Brewery
Sixpoint Brewery isn’t new to the craft beer scene, however, their taproom certainly is! Founded in 2004 in the Red Hook neighbourhood, Sixpoint Brewery has been creating outstanding brews for the Brooklyn community, tweaking and improving with every single batch. It wasn’t until October 2022 that their first official taproom opened on the lower level of City Point BKLYN and the community could not be more thrilled!

Threes Brewing
Threes Brewing in the Gowanus neighbourhood is a great Brooklyn brewery, loved by locals and visitors alike. Their taproom is attached to Ninth Street Espresso and features a pop-up food vendor called The Meat Hook that serves amazing food. The brewery itself focuses on lagers, hop-forward American ales and mixed culture beers. They take traditional-style beers and brew them with a modern spin. Threes Brewing also has a rewards program that lets you earn points for every dollar spent which can then be redeemed for beer money!

Coney Island Brewery
Coney Island Brewery is the only brewery on Coney Island and a great place to visit when making your way out there. Their outdoor beer garden area has games like cornhole and picnic tables and inside they offer brewery tours and have weekly events like music trivia, live music, and special shows. They don’t have table service, but you can order from their full food menu at the bar with your beer of choice.
Customer Review: A great bar with a nice variety of beers on tap. We visited Coney Island and finished our trip with a beer flight here. The staff were all really friendly and the beer was really good. There was a drag act on that was a nice bit of entertainment too.

Grimm Artisanal Ales
Grimm Artisanal Ales is a great brewery founded by husband and wife duo Joe and Lauren Grimm. They are the masterminds behind the brewing operation and have done amazing work since outgrowing their home brewing setup.
The taproom in East Williamsburg features rotating food pop-ups on the weekends, and soon, they’ll be offering their very own wood-fired pizza! It has an industrial-chic feel inside with big windows letting in tons of natural light and bookshelves filled with art books and vinyl records, making it a beautiful space to spend an afternoon in Brooklyn.
Customer Review: Grimm is easily one of, if not the best, brewery in the city in terms of both beer and the space. Consistently exciting and fun beers rotating on and off the menu, and the tap room itself has a warm and friendly atmosphere, not to mention a decent amount of sidewalk seating. Make sure you say hi to Simcoe the cat! She is a lethargic queen.

TALEA beer is a women-owned brewery on a mission to expand the craft beer market by introducing easy-drinking brews made with minimal bitterness and fruit-forward qualities. Randolph Beer
Randolph Beer has two locations, one in Dumbo and one in Williamsburg. Their Dumbo location is special because 12 floors above the brewery is their beautiful rooftop patio that’s open on summer weekends. Sip on a cold craft beer or a special cocktail overlooking the city with phenomenal views.
Randolph Beer isn’t just great in the summer though! Their downstairs taproom is open all year and is a great place to get together with old friends and make new ones over a shared love of delicious beer. They have tons of games to keep you busy, from the classics like foosball and shuffleboard to the games you might never have heard of like Featherbowl.
Customer Review: Best view and beer in Brooklyn! Highly recommend Randolph’s Dumbo location for meeting friends, arcade games and brunch. They have vegan vegetarian options, great beer selection and fun atmosphere.

Finback Brooklyn
Finback started out in Queens and after a successful beginning, they decided to open up a second location in Brooklyn. All of the beer produced at Finback is worth trying, a result of passionate and extremely talented brewmasters. In terms of food, you can find a nice variety of eats, including some of the best dumplings ever tasted, paired beautifully with their exceptional beer menu. Top it all off with a welcoming atmosphere and gorgeous interior, and you’ve got a recipe for a great night out!
Customer Review: One of my favorite breweries right now with a good selection of beers and cocktails that will appeal to any group of people. Their barrel aged stouts are always a good bet (if that’s what you’re into) or try one of their many IPAs.

Kings County Brewers Collective was the first brewery to open in the Bushwick neighborhood after the prohibition, and they’ve been consistently one of the best breweries in Brooklyn for over 40 years! King County Brewers is a staple brewery in the Brooklyn beer scene and definitely not one to be missed!

Evil Twin Brewing
Evil Twin Brewing brews a wide variety of great beers including a few must-try milkshake IPAs made with milk sugar, hazy IPAs, sour ales, pale ales, and hard seltzers. Their DUMBO taproom is the newer of the two, the other being in the Ridgewood neighborhood of Queens. Both locations have a bright and open aesthetic, perfect for an afternoon cold one.
Customer Review: Evil Twin consistently makes beers that are among my favorites. I particularly go for their fruited sours which have satisfyingly bold flavors. My favorite from this flight: Dumb Fruit 3 – Passion Fruit, Marion Berry, Marshmallow coconut toasties.
