It all started in 1890. Chattanooga’s oldest brewery, Chattanooga Brewing Company grew to become a six-story brewhouse that occupied an entire block of Broad Street. They were producing over 150,000 barrels a year, until Prohibition closed the brewery’s doors.

Now, a century later, Chattanooga Brewing Company is back, still pouring some of the legendary German style ales and lagers that started it all. Located on Chestnut Street (PS. try their flagship Chestnut St. Brown Ale), across from the Finley Stadium, this is a must stop for some of the best German style beer in the country.

Customer Review: Great for a beer, a snack and a great time. They have nice games such as darts shuffle board and others!

Inside you’ll find cozy leather chairs, open community-style tables, and a lively jungle vibe with plants hanging from the walls. Their food menu consists of mainly pizzas and pretzels that pair excellently with their house made brews.

Customer Review: OddStory is one of those local spots that has somehow fell under my radar for years. I’m an IPA guy and my wife likes sours/seltzers, and we were both very pleased with the selection available. The beer was well-crafted, flavorful, fairly priced and available in cans or growlers.
